Now look here Yankee wankee, perhaps if you can prise your tongue from GW Bush's asshole, you might be able to find the info yourself. ;-)
| Ian Oda wrote: | Technically, not. The word 'atheist' and the phrase 'don't give a shit' are contradictory. Atheism is just as much a faith, in my opinion, even more so, than theism. As such it's not something where people 'don't care', they do care, they're viewpoint is seen to almost be scientific rather than a faith but that's society for you. An agnostic might not care, someone who really doesn't care whether there is a God or there isn't one, won't care but someone who believes there isn't a God yet cannot prove it is someone who 'does care'. Laughing Boy strikes me as someone who doesn't really care. Mandy, on the other hand, definitely cares.
<snip>
I think it's safe to say that when people say they're atheist, they're saying that with the Islamic/Judaic/Christian God in mind. |
IMO, many people confuse 'athiest' with 'heathen', the latter does not believe in any established book based religion. Such people may or may not give a shit, and probably don't give the existence of god much thought, whereas athiests are more likely to be adamant that there is no god.
| Ian Oda wrote: | | By saying that it has nothing to do with God, you're almost admitting one exists and that you know him in some way, which I think you disagree with. You said we can't possibly know this God (or 'first cause') but you don't deny that there might be, which is a sensible position, Mr Laughin' Boy. |
Indeed, Mr Oda. ;-)
| Ian Oda wrote: | | But does this reflect the Pope? I'm uncertain whether he knew about much of the Paedophile scandal. You know how impulsive the public are. If the paedophile scandal came out then it would, and it looks likely to, ruin the church. Imagine if you owned a company and a competitor planted some of his employees in your company and had them doing illegal things. You'd have extract the troublesome employees and keep it quiet or else the public will punish your company for something a competitor did. |
For an "infallible" institution, that isn't too likely, is it - especially as they're all in the NWO together.

Not to forget islam too. They are the fastest growing religion worldwide. |

Islamics are getting taken out by the Jews and the Evangelists though. _________________ I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee. - Isiah 44:22 |

You could well be right. In fact, if I got the facts straight, the Evangelicals/zionists are also taking out the jews as well as islamics, christians et al. :-/ |

I can see why they'd want to take out Islam because of its potential but I reckon the common Jew and Christian is just an expendable asset to them, rather than them having a real agenda to get rid of them. I'm only going on a hunch though...any more ideas? _________________ I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee. - Isiah 44:22 |

i dont care about THE POPE! but i do feel sorry for the old man behind the pope, as growning old is my worst fear i feel sorry becuase he died with alot of problems! which is something i never want to happen to me! i plan to be dead for any problems like that occure! but lots of people die everyday! if the pope wasnt in the public none of you would care! do you feel sorry for the old people that die in the winter or when there in the old homes!? nope becuase you dont know them! you dont know the pope either but becuse you want to feel like you have "something" inside you, you say you feel sorry for him!
so i will keep on posting my opinions as where its relevent! if u dont like it! am not sorry for you! there are plenty of other places |
Only selfish people have no compassion for those they have not met. I feel for the victims of the Tsunami, 9/11, and I feel the loss of an icon and a good man. It is fine if you don't...but let others mourn. _________________ Until a time when later is now, I'll be here laughing at this chaotic order of existence,

So you're logic must be that people have their tongue's up the asses of the executive ruler of their perspective nation...does this mean your tongue is up your PMs ass?
Also...you prove only that you don't know how to communicate an arguement intelligently. You present an arguement, but build no case for it. That is just lazy and dim witted. I don't see you having respect for yourself, if you can't even do that. _________________ Until a time when later is now, I'll be here laughing at this chaotic order of existence,

Aw fuck me, 2 year since the pope passed on? I must post this tribute to the auld fucker. ;-)
| Quote: | Half a Ball
I've travelled round this world of ours,
seen many a different hat,
In Spain they wear the Sombrero,
In America the baseball cap,
But the biggest laugh that i did get
was when i went to Rome,
There was a man out on a balcony
with a half ball on his dome.
Oh, Pope John Paul wears half a ball
to hide his baldy head,
They say that he'll still have it on
when he's lying dead,
I wonder if he'd wear it
if he knew when it was whole,
That the ball was kicked by Micheal Mols
into the Celtic goal.
Oh, The soldiers they wear helmets
to protect thier heads,
And your granny to keep warm
wears a nightcap to her bed,
In Scotland there's the pipers,
Thier Busby's lookin' braw,
But you've got to laugh at pope John Paul
'cos he wears half a ball.
Oh, Pope John Paul wears half a ball
to hide his baldy head,
They say that he'll still have it on
when he's lying dead,
I wonder if he'd wear it
if he knew when it was whole,
That the ball was kicked by Micheal Mols
into the Celtic goal.
Oh, The pope he came to Glasgow
and kneeled down to kiss the ground,
A little boy ran up to him
and the crowd were struck dumb-found,
The little boy then raised his foot
and kicked the half a ball,
He said "I'm sorry mr pope man,
i was trying to score a goal".
Oh, Pope John Paul wears half a ball
to hide his baldy head,
They say that he'll still have it on
when he's lying dead,
I wonder if he'd wear it
if he knew when it was whole,
That the ball was kicked by Micheal Mols
into the Celtic goal.
I remember in the papers,
It read King Billy was gay,
But i wish those lying reporters
would report on the present day,
They tried to make us Proddy's out
to be a laughing stock,
When the timss they worship
a man in a half ball,
Beads and a long white frock.
